Today is Pushya amavasya. Amavasya thidhi will be formed due to the combination of Surya and chandra. Every year this mouni amavasya will come after starting of uttarayana. Uttarayana punya kala means ...the entry of Surya into Makar Rashi. The entry of chandra with ravi in Makar Rashi is mouni amavasya. Chandra is mano karaka. The brightness of chandra will be reduced due to entry with ravi in shani kshetra.
This Jan 2017....mouni amavasya is a combination with speed entry of shani. To avoid mano klesha, one has to spend the maximum time of today in bhagavad aradhana and avoid unnecessary arguments and discussions with anyone especially today.
